I have chosen this band, Bullet for my valentine, as it is a metal core band. The lyrics in this song is simlar to that of 'the watchtower'. In addition to this, the music video uses similar camera angles to the ones we are hoping to use for our music video, so I can learn a lot form this music video.

A good choice for comparison Tom. It would be more useful if you were more specific about the camera angles etc - do some more analysis of it.
ReplyDeleteThe members of the band are set-up in a similar fashion to which we are hoping to mimic in our music video. We see the drummer at the back, guitarists either side and the focus being on the lead singer. Despite this, every band member will have a close-up of them. This music video however is slightly narrative based as the camera often cuts form showing the band to showing a story which isn't something we are looking to do. What is interesting though is the pace of the cuts, which often increases as the story line gets more intense. We can relate this to our music video, by increasing the pace of the cuts as the song gets more intense.
